Things Long Past is run by me, Jessica! I am a bookseller living on the south coast of England. I studied English Literature and Drama Studies at the University of Chichester, graduating with a BA in 2018. My dissertation focused on Shakespearean play spaces, and I still adore the Bard to this day.
I have been a bookseller for almost four years and love spending my time with books. When I'm not working, my spare time continues to be spent with books, reading as much as I can: namely, historical fiction, women's fiction, fantasy, young adult, history books and Star Wars novels. Having lived in England my entire life, I especially enjoy when historical stories are set in my home county of Somerset, or anywhere in the UK. I am also a Silent Book Club organiser for the Eastbourne UK chapter.
I try and review most books I read, including advanced and proof copies. One day I'd like to be an author of historical fiction myself.
